Septic System Inspection Experts in MNWhen looking into purchasing a new home, most potential buyers are focused on the colors, square footage, size of the yard, upgrades, the neighborhood, etc. One critical aspect of the property that needs to be evaluated before committing to a home that has a septic system is the system itself. You likely want to avoid purchasing a home that has a poorly performing septic system. So, how are you able to tell if the septic system is in good shape or not? Well, that is where our team at Custom Septic comes into the scenario. We are the septic system inspection experts in Big Lake, MN and the surrounding area that you can count on to ensure that the septic system is in good working order.

Experienced Septic System Professionals

When having a septic system inspected, it is important that the inspection is being performed by someone with experience. Our owner, Brad Krotzer has been working on septic systems since the age of 11 and has had this company in place since 1996. During this time, he has worked on some of the worst septic systems you could imagine. For this reason, he knows all of the signs and potential damage to look for when inspecting a septic system. Taking pride in the inspection work that we provide, we want to make sure that you are completely comfortable when you decide to put in an offer on your dream home.

Septic Compliance Inspector

After our septic system inspection is complete, the owner of the property will receive either a Certificate of Compliance or a Notice of Non-Compliance. The hope is that the septic system receives a Certificate of Compliance, which is valid for three years. This certificate means that the septic system on the property is working efficiently and meeting the MN performance standards. If we find that the septic system is not in good shape, a Notice of Non-Compliance will be given. This notice will reference either an imminent threat to public health or safety and failure to protect groundwater. With either situation, there will be a required timeframe for repair, upgrade or replacement that must be complied with.

The homebuying process should be an exciting one.
